For three years I have watched Capital Cause, a fiscally-sponsored 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, grow from an organization founded by five women, to an organization that has influenced 3000 young professionals to give to important causes. Although I'd like to say the growth took place overnight, the truth is Capital Cause exists because of the unwavering support of young, committed, and energized donors excited about giving back.
Capital Cause is unlike any other nonprofit organization that you will experience, partly because it revolutionizes the concept of philanthropy by involving young professionals in pooling their resources to give back to important causes. This year - in 2012 - that important cause is POVERTY. A majority our members - New Philanthropists - voted to donate to this cause in 2012 and we support them 100%.
Today I invite you to join our movement by exploring why our New Philanthropist Program is changing the way people think about giving, attend one of our creatively-themed fundraisers, and get involved at our next service event. Make Capital Cause your philanthropic organization of choice, and we'll make sure your experience not only grows your network but increases your impact.
