Capital Cause will award microgrants to local nonprofits using the funds invested into the Cause and Capital Banks, both of which are funded by the sum contributions of new philanthropists.
This year, since the 2012 Capital Cause is POVERTY, all awards of money and time will be gifted to nonprofits or causes that cater to addressing this cause. Micro-grants of volunteer hours will range from 25 hours to 30 day projects.
