Capital Cause CHANGEMAKERS Cocktail Reception (SOLD OUT - 200 Young Professionals)

Location: Local 16 (1602 U Street, NW)
Purpose: Fund Two Grants to Two Local Nonprofit Organizations

Two-hundred (200) DC young professionals and supporters of Capital Cause joined us for an upscale cocktail reception for charity and in celebration of our 2nd anniversary.  This affordable, interactive event engaged young philanthropists and professionals in several hands-on activities to include: polling guests about what our 2012 Capital Cause should be, connecting changemakers in an innovative way, and voting to select the area's Top Young Philanthropist.

Charlin Caster (Capital Cause Volunteer Award), Tisa Silver (Capital Cause Excellence Award),  Kelley Calvin (Capital Cause Top Philanthropist Award) and Pamela Perkins (Young Philanthropist Voter's Choice Award) were all recognized.  Also, young philanthropists funded a $400 grant to the Boys and Girls Club of Washington, DC and 100 public service hours to the Black Student Fund.

MAKE MORE, GIVE MORE: YOUNG PROFESSIONALS CA$HFLOW EVENT

CAPITAL CAUSE SUMMER SOIREE
